Axon uses VRS to record phone calls. After you have installed VRS you will need to add Axon as a VoIP channel and then modify the recorder settings to match the VoIP channel you set up. You can do this from the System Settings tab of the weblet.
- VRS Host Name: Specify the IP address and port on which VRS is located. You must have specified the same port number in the VRS Settings configuration. For large systems or for fail safe load balanced redundancy you can list multiple VRS servers separated by commas.
- VRS access code: The password needed to be able to create a recording through VRS. In VRS you need to set up a VoIP recording line and set the same password for that line.
Once VRS has been set up with a VoIP line(s), it will automatically start recording the calls as they occur, no manual intervention is required.
