Enable integrated Axon voicemail - This will enable Axon to handle voicemail for extensions that have it configured. You will not be able to configure extensions to use the internal voicemail unless it is enabled here.
Mailbox template options - These options will apply to new extensions that you create.
- Allow web access to voicemail - This will enable web access for new extensions that you create. You will still need to provide a password for the extension for the user to log on.
- Allow access from external phone - This will enable users to check their voicemail from an external phone by dialing to their extension and pressing * during the greeting. You will still need to create a phone PIN for the extension for the user to log on.
General voicemail settings - These options control how messages are recorded and sent.
- Internal voicemail extension - This is the extension number that handles internal voicemail. This is also the extension that a user would dial to check their voicemail from their extension. By default it will be '500'.
- Minimum voicemail length - This is the minimum length for a "valid" voice message. Any recordings shorter than this will be discarded. Set the value to 0 seconds to keep all recordings.
- Maximum voicemail length - This is the maximum length for a voice message. Any recordings longer than this will be cut off. This value can be between 15 and 300 seconds.
- Delivery Compression Format - This is the format that voice messages should be delivered over email. Generally this is used to reduce the size of emails sent from Axon or to change them to a different format for playback from certain devices.
