This dialog is used to edit a guitar fretboard chord. You can decide what strings are played and what frets are pressed to define a chord including name.

Chord Name: Allow you input a name you like. There are some naming rules for chords in music practice. It is easy to remember and use chords if their names are specified followed these rules.

Use Fretboard Diagram: You should define what strings are played and what frets are pressed to define a chord by checking this option. Of course, you can just specify the chord name if you think chord names are enough and do not need fretboard diagram.

Fretboard Diagram:

You can click the area over a string or at a fret and on a string to switch between Cross, Circle and Dot for the string. If there are multiple strings to play at a fret, you can barrie the fret using the left check box. Sometimes, you would like to use some frets below the fifth fret, you can use vertical scroll bar on the right or mouse wheel to change the first fret of guitar fretboard diagram.
