To add lyrics on the notes, select the lyrics tool from the Text Toolbox, then move mouse close to the note under which you want to add lyric text. If the guideline pointed to the note you expect, click to add/edit the lyric text. An in-place Edit Text box will appear to let you input lyric text. Type the text into the text field. When you finish input of lyric text of current note, you can use the following keys:

You can use Selection Tool to move lyrics like normal text. You also can right click a lyric text to pop up menu to show a dialog to change the lyric text and set its size, font and select formatting for the text if desired. To just edit text, double click the text with the selection cursor, make the desired changes.

Note: If you change formats of a lyric text, they will apply to all lyrics with the save verse. Lyrics are different from normal text, they should be attached on notes. If there are not guideline shown, no target note of lyrics is found around the mouse pointer.

Texts have alignment helper lines and movement locking, similar to the normal text.
