This dialog allows you to preview the result before you print/export a score. You can also set some options for print/export. Paper: Allow you specify the printing paper you like. The paper settings are the same as the page settings of the score by default. - Size: Specify the printing paper size you like.
- Orientation: Specify the printing paper orientation you like: Portrait or Landscape.
- Apply to Score Page: If you are sure you need to apply the current paper size and orientation to the score page settings, click this button. Also, you can set score page size and orientation in Score Settings before you open this dialog.
- Measures per Line: If you don't think the current score layout is tidy , click this button and specify maximum of measures per line/system to re-layout the whole score. Also, you can do Layout before you open this dialog.
Note: It is a good choice to tidy the score up before you open this dialog because you can do more in score editing view. Scale: There are some scaling options for different requirements. - Actual Size: No scaling for printing.
- Fit to Paper: Scale the score page to fit the current printing paper.
- Custom Scale: Specify a scale percent for printing.
Note: Some score content are possibly clipped off if the paper settings do not match the page settings or the scale setting is not good. Advanced Settings Expand the advanced setting to show more printing options. Print Lyrics only: If your score includes only chords and lyrics text, you can check this box to hide staff lines and bar lines to get compact layout. Print Selected Voices only: Use the voice checkboxes to select voice(s) for printing. The initial values of the checkboxes are based on the 'Voice->Display Voice' and restored when the dialog is closed. Print Selected Parts only: By checking this box, the parts list will enabled. From the list, select a specific part for printing. |
