The Radial Menu is a unique feature or Crescendo Music Notation Software which aids in the ease of access for the placement of symbols and elements in your score sheet. It is an exclusive feature of Crescendo that you can conveniently use to switch between note types, rests, and other shortcuts.- Simply click any of the notes or symbols you wish to alter within the score sheet
- The radial menu that corresponds to the note or symbol you clicked should appear as colorful circles surrounding the note or symbol you wish to alter
- There are also small numbers above the circles that correspond to the symbols’ shortcut keys. You can press ALT + (symbol number) to switch to other circles
You may notice that there is a “+” sign in the middle of each circle on the radial menu. You may click the “+” sign to access other submenus of the group of symbols within the circle.
In conclusion, the radial menu is a great tool to alter note duration, rests, add grace notes, articulations, ornaments, etc. without having to drag and drop those symbols from the toolbars.
