A Baseline is a snapshot of the project's state. As a project progresses, it may be compared with these snapshots to help identify which tasks have taken more, or less, time to complete than was originally estimated.

Print

Opens a dialog which allows the baseline comparison to be sent to the printer of your choice.

Save

Opens a dialog which allows the baseline comparison to be saved as a PDF in the folder of your choice.

Table Columns
Name

The task's current name will be displayed in this column.

Current Start

The start date of the task as it is currently scheduled in the project.

Current Finish

The finish date of the task as it is currently scheduled in the project.

Current Duration

The duration of the task, rounded to the next whole hour, as it is currently scheduled in the project.

Calendar Chart

The task, as scheduled at the time the baseline's creation and as currently scheduled, is plotted in a calendar for quick comparison.

Baseline Start

The start date of the task as it is was scheduled in the project when the baseline was created.

Baseline Finish

The finish date of the task as it is was scheduled in the project when the baseline was created.

Baseline Duration

The duration of the task, rounded to the next whole hour, as it was scheduled in the project when the baseline was created.

Variance

The duration, rounded to the next whole hour, by which completion of the task has changed since the baseline was created. A positive value indicates that the task has a later finish date in the project than in the baseline. A negative value indicates an early finish.
