In this dialogue you can set the camera properties. To open the Camera Properties dialog, open the Options dialog, click the Cameras tab, select a camera from the list and click the Properties button.

Name

The drop list will list all the local web camera for your selection.

Input

You can select the input device.

Format

You can select the resolution and the camera format.

Device Settings/Inputs

This will open a device specific settings and inputs pages. You should refer to your cameras manual for further details.

One setting on some cameras is the switch or reverse the horizontal image. On most cameras you will see the image is mirrored or motion left to right will appear right to left on the display and recordings. Using this option will reverse this so it will appear normal.

Display Name

This is the displayed name of the camera.

Record enabled

Whether recording is allowed on this camera.

Text caption enabled

Add text to create a text or caption for your video if this checkbox is selected.

Motion Settings

This will open the motion settings dialog to adjust the motion configurations.

Caption Settings

This button is enabled when the "Text caption enabled" checkbox is selected. Clicking this button will open the Caption Settings dialog where you can adjust the caption configurations, including adding a timestamp to your recordings.
