In this dialog you can set the caption settings, including adding a timestamp to a camera's recordings. To open this dialog, open the Camera Properties, check the Text caption enabled button, and then click the Caption Settings button.
You can add text to create a title, caption or timestamp to your video. You can also adjust the alignment of your text using the buttons below.
Alignment
The alignment can be adjusted to left, center, right, vertical top, vertical center and vertical bottom.
Caption
Insert total time, current year, month, day, hour, minute or second by typing the following:
- %YYYY% = Current Year
- %MM% = Current Month
- %DD% = Current Day
- %HH% = Current Hour
- %MIN% = Current Minute
- %SS% = Current Second
- %time% = Time Spent Recording
- %timenoms% = Time Spent Recording (no milliseconds)
Height Percent:
Adjust the height percent of the caption.
Font
Click the Font button to adjust the font name, font style, height percent, effects, and foreground color.
Foreground Color
Click the color box to select the foreground color of the caption.
Background Color
When the Background Color checkbox is selected, click the color box to select the background color of the caption.
