The Recording Output Format step of the Wizard is where you specify what Golden Records will do with the audio once you have finished a recording. The options to choose from are listed below.

Burn recorded audio to an audio CD (for listening on a CD player)

Select this option if you want to burn your recording to CD so you can play it on a standard CD player. After you exit the wizard, the Burn Audio window will appear. See the CD/DVD Burn Settings topic in this manual for more information about the burn settings.

Convert recorded audio files to MP3

Select this option to convert the file format of your recording to MP3 for use on your computer, a portable device, or to burn an MP3 CD/DVD. See the CD/DVD Burn Settings topic in this manual for more information about the burn settings.

Do nothing. I want to do more work on these files.

Selecting this option allows you to export the files to an external editor, such as WavePad, where you can edit your files by cleaning up background noise, or joining files together. For more information about the editing capabilities of WavePad, visit www.nch.com.au/wavepad/index.html.
