The Out-Going Messages List can be viewed by selecting the "IVR Profile" tab in the web interface. This list is useful for managing all the OGMs in the system.

OGM Properties

You can enter the OGM Properties by clicking on the OGM Name, or the edit icon for that row.

From within the OGM Properties, you can edit the Message Audio, Key Response Settings, Validity Checking, and other Advanced OGM Options.

Play

Click "Play" to listen to the current Out-Going Message. To stop, click on the button again.

Add New OGM

To create a new OGM, click on the "Add New OGM" button at the bottom of the list. This will open the OGM Properties window where you can name the OGM and set your options. Click Save Changes at the bottom of the Properties window when you are done.

To save you time when creating many similar OGMs, you can enter the properties of an OGM you have already created and select the "save As New OGM" check box at the bottom of the window before saving changes.

Delete

Click on this button to delete the selected OGM.

Caution: You must manually change all references to this OGM before deleting the OGM to avoid breaking your IVR system.

Rename

Click on this button to rename the selected OGM.

Caution: You must change manually all references to the OGM.

Report

You will see the "Create Text Report" Option in the Dark Blue bar immediately below the tabs when you are in the IVR Profile Tab. Selecting Report creates and opens a document listing all the OGMs with their scripts, menus and other properties. This is very useful when working with very large IVR systems. The report can be saved, copied or printed.

List Ordering

By default the list of OGMs are listed in alphabetical order. Alternatively the list can be ordered in 'logical' order. This starts with the current answering OGM and lists then OGMs making an attempt to follow the menu structure. This logical order can sometimes make it easier to follow the system.
