Plan Your Expenses

The last page of the New Budget wizard is where you'll enter the expense totals you expect to spend each month.

A list of expense categories is displayed. You can add, edit or delete an expense category using the buttons under the list. To project the monthly expense for each category, double-click the dollar amount shown for the category and enter a new amount. Categories that remain at a $0.00 balance will be left out of the budget.


Click this button to add a new expense category to MoneyLine.


Click this button to edit the selected expense category.


Click this button to delete the selected expense category from MoneyLine. Note that this action may affect other budgets and transaction labels.

Display a warning for each transaction that exceeds the budget

Check this box to display a warning when you manually enter a transaction in MoneyLine that would exceed the allocated amount.
