The Library
The library stores all the pieces you have loaded into PlayPerfect. Click Add to Library to add another piece to the library, or click on one of the existing pieces to open it, ready to practice.
File Types
You can currently load two types of files in PlayPerfect: Crescendo Score or MIDI files.
- Crescendo Score files (.cdo) are created with the free Crescendo Music Notation Editor. They can precisely represent music notation, and are the best way to compose your own pieces to practice.
- MIDI (.mid) files are a common format for machine-readable music. They are commonly available, but may not always be suitable for practice, because PlayPerfect must convert them into music notation. For best results, try to select music with one instrumental part.
