Switch now makes use of the SoundTap Streaming Audio Recorder as an option for converting files which it has problems with. To make use of this feature, select the option 'Convert Audio Stream' from the 'Convert' menu in Switch, then follow the three-step Wizard to convert your audio file.

• Step 3: Hit the 'Stop Recording Now' button to stop SoundTap recording the file. Next, go to the SoundTap main window and click the 'Find and Play' button to access your newly created file. Note that SoundTap will record only if there is audio playing, if you started the software too early or stopped it too late, then the extra gaps of silence will not be included in the recording.
