Oscilloscope
This tool shows the amplitude level of the currently playing audio. To use it, open the Oscilloscope dialog via Tools -> Oscilloscope.
The left side of the dialog shows the different options to customize the waveform view. As follows:
- Time
- Modify the time setting shown by the X axis of the grid.
- Sync
- Toggle oscilloscope sync to start the oscilloscope measurement sweep at the first positive zero-crossing.
- Amplitude
- Modify the amplitude setting shown by the Y axis of the grid.
- Normalize
- Toggle normalize to always show the waveform at 100% target amplitude level.
- DC Cut
- Toggle DC cut filter to remove the DC component of the audio signal waveform.
- Low Pass
- Toggle low pass filter to only allow low frequency with cutoff at 4Khz.
