You can specify the maximum recording duration here in hours:minutes:seconds format.

When the maximum recording time is reached:

You can also specify if the recording should be completely stopped ("Stop recording") or the new recording should be started ("Create new recording and continue"). If you select the latter, the file name in the "Use this file name format" in the Output Options will be used.

Disable preview when recording in screen capture

You can disable preview video to avoid the mirror effect for screen capture mode. If you have multiple monitors, you can move the Debut window into the monitor that isn't the recording monitor.

Minimize Debut window when recording if it is covering the recording selection

If Minimize to tray is checked, this option will hide the Debut window completely when screen capture starts and the screen recording selection is covered by the Debut window.
If Minimize to tray is not checked, this option will minimize Debut to the task bar when screen capture starts and the screen recording selection is covered by the Debut window.

Quick stop from tray

From the tray menu, you can start, pause or stop the recording. If this mode is selected, left click in the tray will stop the recording.

Show recording countdown timer

If this is checked, Debut will display countdown timer from 3 seconds down to 1 second before recording

Disable "Play Video" notification after recording

If this is checked, Debut won't notify about playing the video every after recording is stopped
