There are a number of ways to create zip archives with Express Zip.

When you launch Express Zip, it will open with a blank zip file that you can begin adding folders and files to immediately. To do this, click Add Folder or Add Files from the toolbar or File menu. Express Zip will automatically create the zip file as you add folders or files in the location specified in the address bar under the toolbar, and will update the zip file as you continue to add files.

Another method for creating zip files is through File Explorer or your Desktop. Right-clicking on a folder or file will open a context menu with the option "Express Zip," with the submenu option "Compress." After selecting this option, Express Zip will launch and automatically add the selected item into a new zip archive. You can then continue to add more folders or files to the archive as usual from Express Zip.

When adding items to the archive, you can also drag and drop them into Express Zip from a File Explorer window or your Desktop.
