If you have already completed the Setup Wizard to set up a voicemail system skip ahead to step 6 to customize your configuration.

Step 1: Run the Setup Wizard
If the Setup Wizard is not open, you can start it by choosing the "Run Setup Wizard..." option under the File menu.

Step 2: Select "Voicemail (with PBX)"

Step 3: Configure Telephone Line(s)
On this page you will need to add any telephone lines that you want IVM to be able to answer.

If you have Axon installed you may see an additional setup page asking which Axon lines you would like to ring on IVM. Select the lines that you will be using for your IVM installation so that these will connect to IVM correctly.

Step 4: Configure Mailbox(es)
If you have Axon on you computer you can choose to have IVM create a mailbox for each of your Axon extensions. These mailboxes will be named with the corresponding extension names.
If you would prefer to create numbered mailboxes without importing them from Axon select the "I would like to create mailboxes without using Axon's extension list and enter the number of mailboxes you would like to create. The mailbox numbers will start at '101'.
If you would like to be able to access your messages through a web browser select the "Enable mailboxes to be accessed via a network and Web browser." checkbox.
If you would like to require users to enter a PIN number to access their voice messages, select the "Require a PIN number to access mailboxes when dialing in." checkbox.

Step 5: Complete Wizard

Step 6: Changing your Voicemail Greeting(s)
Double click on the voice mailbox you want to change the greeting for. This will open the General Mailbox Properties. If you selected a single mailbox it will be named 'voicemail,' if you selected multiple mailboxes the will be numbered starting from '1' up to '10'.

Step 7: Test your system with call simulator
Use the Call Simulator to test.
