Call Announce and Call Screening Device and Volume

This is the device that IVM uses to screen calls, and announcing callers. Screening calls for a mailbox is set in the Mailbox Properties. Playing the call announcement or reading out the caller’s phone number as digits is turned on from the Caller ID Settings tab.

Telephone Audio Play Process and Auto Gain Control

These settings can be used to change the volume and help improve the quality of the audio being played to a caller and help to compensate for the low fidelity over phone lines or through your modem, however the quality of your hardware will ultimately determine the audio quality.

VoIP Quality

The VoIP Quality settings apply to all VoIP calls made and received through IVM. By changing this setting IVM will attempt to use codecs with more or less compression (generally at the cost of CPU usage and audio quality).
