Axon can be used as a outbound dialer to connect calls to a list of users. This guide will explain what the outbound dialer can be used for and how it operates. To use these features you will need to download and install Axon Agent.

Typical Uses

The Dialer can be used to call a number of clients automatically from a list. Calls can be placed by multiple agents simultaneously (requires Enterprise license) without worrying about a client getting multiple calls. This can be used for any application where automating the dialing process can help agents reach a number of people quickly. Some typical uses include:

Agents

Agents are phone operators who will speak to a client after a call is connected. When an agent logs on and is ready to place a call for a campaign, Axon will dial the number and provide customer information to the agent while they are on the call. Agents can place calls and update customer information and notes.

Campaigns

Campaigns are specific calling programs consisting of a dialing list (and the status of each call in the list) and a Campaign Script for agents to refer to or follow during the call. Campaigns can be set up and flagged as Inactive until they are ready to be dialed. Setting a campaign to Active will allow agents to begin dialing numbers from that campaign.

Dialing Lists

Dialing Lists are at the core of the outbound dialer. These lists contain customer information including the number Axon will dial to reach the customer, various customer information that can be used and updated by the agent while on a call, and call status information if the call has already been placed.
