Text Properties Panel

The Text Properties panel allows you to modify the selected text on your template.

Font

This pull down will display a selection of fonts current available on your system that can be applied to the selected text overlay.

Bold, Italic and Underline

Clicking these buttons will apply the typical bold, italic and underline font styles to the selected text overlay.

Text color

Clicking the colored box on the right will open a dialog where you can select the color the for the text.

Background color

Clicking the colored box on the right will open a dialog where you can select the background color for the selected text overlay. This color will fill the area within the draggable border of the text overlay.
Note that the background color will only be drawn if the check box beside the Background color label is ticked.

Text alignment buttons

Clicking any of these buttons will shift the alignment of the text within the overlay to align to the corner/side of the overlay's draggable border, corresponding to the direction of the arrow on the button. Similarly, clicking the center button will align the text to the center of the text overlay.
Note that rotating the overlay will not have any effect on how these alignment buttons work. Clicking the top alignment button will always align the text to the visual top of the draggable border, etc. Note that curved text supports top and bottom alignments only.

Edit text field

You can type text into this field in a similar manner to how you would type into any text editing program. You can select, cut, copy, and paste. The text that is entered here will be displayed within the draggable borders of the text overlay on your template.

Curved Text

Convert the selected text from regular format to curved format and vice versa by checking or unchecking the Curved Text box. Note: This feature can only be enabled in the "Standard disc".

Rotate, Raise and Lower

The Rotate left, Rotate right, Raise selection, and Lower selection buttons will behave similarly to those in the Overlay menu.
